Dulux ICI

There was a briefing held at my office by Dulux ICI. I just got to know that each year there will be colour of the year and this year is Citrus Yellow a.k.a Lime Twist. So anyone of you planning to paint your house for this upcoming raya or any festivities, Citrus Yellow it is!

So, should I go for colour of the year or my favourite colour? The problem is I don't have any specific favourites as long as my house doesn't look too colourful or bright. Hmmph... Dunno.. Nanti la dulu kalau nak cat pun. Not now la kot..

What I learn from the briefing is there are appropriate colour combinations that you can use so that your house will not look so "awkward". But the most popular option these days is contrasting colour scheme. For example Blue & Orange, Red-Violet & Yellow-Green, Green & Red. Paham tak? That means, the same room using two contrasting colours on each wall.

Ok, take a deep breath...

1st, let's shout, "WHAT THE......!!"

This definitely caught me off-guard. This morning, the fuel gauge of my car showed 2 bar. And I'm planning to refill the fuel this evening. And I'm a loyal user of RON97 especially Shell V-Power cos it gives me more power than other brands.. I think so... Is it in the name that makes me psychologically think that the fuel boosts more pick up for my car or it is indeed more powerful?? Dunno!

I only knew of the increase of price when I reached my office... Pfft!

P/s: That makes me wonder how much my salary increment would be...hmmm...

Anak-anak, kita servis.. mandikan dia, suap dia makan, layan dia..

Bos, kita servis.. kerja adhoc dia soh buat, muka kita masam, tapi kita tetap buat jugak kan arahan dia?

TAPI KITA..?? yang semuanya kita yang buat.. kita lah isteri, ibu, kita bekerja siang di pejabat, malam nak membahagiakan keluarga kita, kalau yang surirumah tangga, siang malam pulun buat keje-keje rumah..

Betul tak apa yang saya cakap nie, kalau suami tak sihat atau anak tak sihat, rumah kita masih lagi dalam kawalan, means teratur, boleh masak..

Tapi bila kita nie sakit..??? Apa jadi kat umah kita? Tak yah cita bab kemas-mengemas.. bab masak jer dah cukup.. berdaya kah kita nak masak?

Sebab tu kita kena jaga badan kita dulu untuk pastikan keluarga kita terjaga..

KEDUA..! eheheh.. macam nak berdebat pulak rasanya..

Orang perempuan memang sinonim dengan alignment.. macam-macam, alingment lari lah.. uhuhu.. takut.. jangan alignment lari sebelum tiba masa nya ya.. kalau umur 60 tahun alignment lari, boleh terima.. kalau umur 23 tahun alignment lari, macam mana?

Ok.. jom check.. nipple kita sebenarnya kena selari dengan cuping telinga kita.. so.. balik nanti check.. alignment ok ke tak ok..

Yang ok, alhamdulillah.. tapi jangan biarkan lama-lama ia tak ok..! Sebab pemakaian PB memang buat yang sepatutnya berada di dada, kekal di dada, bukan di pinggang or di ketiak.. (ops! sori telus skit kali nie..)

Yang tak ok, cuba lah buat sesuatu.. jangan dibiarkan badan tak cantik.. kita ada suami yang selalu memandang.. walaupun dia tak berkata apa, tapi jangan tunggu sampai dia berkata..

Niat saya baik, ingin berkongsi bukan memerli..

The other day I got some work to do which required me to travel to Kota Seriemas, Sepang. The work started at 9am. And since I reached the area early I went for breakfast first at this one warung called Warung Kassim Alwi. The pakcik there makes very crispy roti canai and it tastes so soft inside & crispy on the outside. My colleague discovered this breakfast warung last time when we had to go there for some job assignments.

By the way, I was just testing out the camera... Orang2 kat situ semua pandang2 I, mebbe dorang ingat I ni journalist ke apa...

So cool, eh? The picture was taken using a compact camera. Sony Cybershot DSC-W350 to be precise. And the best thing of all, I got it for FREE! Yes, it's FREE!! I entered this online survey conducted by Heitech Padu Berhad, just for fun after my colleague coaxed me to do it. I've never interested in entering any contests that require slogans or sketching / drawing whatsoever or comments. So after submitted the survey... a few months after that, i received an email notifying me of my winning. 3rd place tuuu... A camera! Actually, before winning this camera I was contemplating on getting a Leica compact. Tapi dah menang Sony compact pun, Syukur Alhamdulillah... At least God really answered me.. Dah la tu, the picture quality is as good as a DSLR....

Part 4: Madinah

Hello hello hello People!!

Sorry tak tersambung2 pulak citer Madinah ni... Terbusy sket nampaknya...

Okla, back to the story ok...

On the 2nd day in Madinah, we were brought to see the surrounding area of Masjid Nabawi such as perkuburan Baki' and Raudhah which is inside the masjid. Perkuburan Baki' is located outside the mosque but within the mosque's vicinity. Kat sini la bersemadinya ahli keluarga Rasulullah dan sahabat2 Baginda. But we didn't go into the musoleum (sp??), just stood outside the fence and recited our doa.. Later, the male and female group members separated and made way into Raudhah to perform our prayers.

The next day barulah we all dapat visit Madinah. We went to Masjid Quba', Masjid Qiblatain, Ladang Kurma, Pasar Kurma, Jabal Uhud, emm... mana lagi yek? tak ingat pulak... hehe... Apa-apa hal pun, enjoy the photos!

I thot masa pegi Ladang kurma ni pegi tengok pokok2 kurma & petik2 kurma.
Rupa2nya pegi terus tempat jual kurma. Me & hubby did not buy any dates here cos we heard that the prices are expensive as compared to the ones sold in Pasar Kurma.

Such a nice couple! I call them Pak Aji & Mak Aji.

On the left is the old burial ground and on the right is the new one.
Ada one time tu kat Madinah banjir besar. Tiba2 penduduk Madinah terbau satu bau yang sangat wangi. There were all puzzled as to what had caused the bauan yang wangi tu. Bila diorang pegi check, rupa-rupanya mayat2 para Syuhada Uhud ni semuanya dah terapung2 di dalam banjir ni. Mayat2 ni badannya masih fresh, tidak reput dan darahnya semua masih fresh seperti baru saja terbunuh dan baunya sangat wangi. Selepas kejadian tu, barulah mayat2 ni pindahkan ke perkuburan di sebelah kanan tu...
Begitulah, mayat para2 syuhada, dah mati lama pun badan tak reput, malah berbau wangi lagi!

Oh sorry I didn't take any pictures pun kat Masjid Qiblatain and pasar kurma.

On Friday, the 4th day we all bersiap2 bertolak ke Makkah after Friday prayers. That morning me & a makcik (my group member) had planned to visit the Raudhah cos nak buat ziarah wida' ke atas Rasulullah. About 8.30am tu we all pegilah Masjid tapi terkejut cos laluan ke Raudhah from the women section semua dah ditutup. We could only see the exit je and we saw a throng of people coming out from that route. Rupa2nya on Friday Raudhah ni ditutup cepat to make way for Friday prayer. Lagipun on Friday la ramai people from Saudi ni datang and maybe nearby countries cos Friday kan their public holiday. Me & the makcik were so down cos tak dapat buat ziarah wida'. The makcik suggested to me to take a walk around the masjid cos we could still recite our doa from the outside of masjid. After all, those women on uzur syarie pun boleh berdoa dari luar as long as dapat mengadap ke arah green dome. Sorry I didn't bring my camera. Kat masjid nabawi ni ada satu dome which is green in color and directly beneath the green dome tu la terletaknya Raudhah. Ada satu entrance kat green dome tu but only lelaki je yang boleh masuk. So me & makcik pergi kat situ & berdiri kat luar green dome tu je la sambil berdoa. Oh, syahdu jugak masa tu... Ye la nak ucap selamat tinggal Rasulullah... Bila la lagi nak datang kan... InsyaAllah bila panjang umur lagi.... Amin! Oh, we strolled around the masjid and Oh God! The masjid is so so so HUGE! Ntah berapa kilometres la diameter masjid ni ye.. And I've never seen any mosques that are as beautiful as Masjid Nabawi. The architecture is wonderful and superb!

Before we all solat Jumaat tuh, we were advised to mandi sunat ihram siap2 cos lepas solat dah terus2 nak bergerak ke Makkah. The guys were all in their ihram gear cos nak ambik miqat & berniat unrah di Masjid Bir Ali which is a few kilometres away from Madinah. As usual me & hubby took the front seats in the bus, hehe...

The journey pun macam biasa la around 5-6 hours. We stopped by at one of R&Rs to have our dinner, Nasi Arab. I melantak dgn banyak jugak. Hoho...
