I'm currently reading this book. This novel is not new, it was published a few years ago.

I've never read any books by Cecelia Ahern except for this one film based on her book: PS, I Love You. Well, I have just watched that movie 3 months ago.

Last two months, I came across a book sale that sold novels for RM20 each. So I grabbed the opportunity to get Ahern's book - any of her novels that has a print of "The International Bestseller".. -___-

Luckily I only bought one. Suffice to say that after 2 months I'm still at Chapter 24, still halfway through the book. There are 55 chapters altogether.

Maybe I'm still not used to her way of writing.. Hmm.. Have to speed up the reading!

Assalam,

Huhh? Floria? Apa tu? It's a flower & garden festival held in Putrajaya. It is Malaysia'a premier outdoor garden and flower showcase.

Macam2 adaaaa! Too bad last night was already a closing.

Ada boat2 with colourful light displays. I don't know what they are called. Floats? And ada jugak firework displays. But too many people thronged the place and it was so crowded, nak cari parking pun susah!

But overall, it was nice!

Selamat Hari Nisfu Syaaban!

I've been awake since 4.30am this morning. After sahur, solat, lepak2 for a while and now here I am, typing & updating this blog. Jap lagi la tido balik.

Oh ya, today is 15th Syaaban. Nisfu Syaaban & it's good to fast on this date. I don't really remember the fadhilat of fasting on Nisfu Syaaban although an email listing out all the fadhilats is always been circulated every year.

But what I know is, it is very good and ianya hari di mana manusia diturunkan dengan buku yang baru. Buku yang lama diangkat after Asar on 14th Syaaban, whilst buku baru diturunkan after Maghrib on the same day. There are special doas to be recited as well.

Okla, selamat berpuasa to those opting to fast today. Dan selamat Hari Nisfu Syaaban! Semoga Allah memberkati setiap amalan kita hari ini & menghapuskan dosa2 kita. Amin!

Wow! Did anybody join yesterday's demonstration? Be it Bersih team or Patriot team.. I couldn't be bothered to go out cos I got stuck in the jam on Friday whilst driving back home from my office in Jalan Tun Razak.

I didn't plan anything yesterday cos I knew it was not a wise decision to step outside. Everywhere there were roadblocks. I pity those weddings that were held yesterday cos not many people who turned up. Everybody was either too lazy to go out or they got stuck in the jam.

But yesterday's rally indeed affected everything. Hmmm.. I reserve my comments..

Rezeki, hidup dan mati hanya Allah yang tentukan!

Assalamualaikum,

Oh, hari ni saya nak bercerita sikit. Panjang ke pendek ke tak tau lagi.

Pernah tak you all terfikir macamana kehidupan kita in the future? Kita ni masih macam ni ke.. Jadi orang berjaya ke, atau lagi teruk ke.. Of course la kita takkan tau apa akan jadi esok sebab semuanya ketentuan Allah. Tapi at the same time do you feel content with the life that you are leading now? Kalau you all berjaya, Alhamdulillah syukur. Kalau you all tak berjaya atau biasa2 saja ada tak terfikir nak ubah kehidupan kita?

Selalunya orang Melayu (tak semua ya) mesti cakap, "Ala.. Ulat dalam batu pun boleh hidup..." ataupun "Allah dah tulis dah hidup kita macam ni, nak buat macam mana lagi!" atau pun "Ala.. Rezeki kita banyak ni je, boleh je hidup!"... Adalah kita antara orang2 yg macam tu?

Memang betul pun Allah dah tetapkan rezeki kita banyak mana TAPI tau tak yang kita boleh ubah hala tuju hidup kita berserta dan diiringi oleh DOA dan usaha. Takkan kita nak berputih mata je tengok orang lain especially orang yg kita kenal dah berjaya dan hidup dengan senang tapi kita masih di takuk lama. Lagi rasa down kalau selama ni kat sekolah, university kita antara orang2 yg excellent. Results memanjang je straight As. Tapi bila kerja kawan2 kita yg banyak fail atau result tak bagus mana dulu tu lagi berjaya dari kita and are leading good lives! Bila bila buat reunion atau jumpa time2 raya ke, kenduri ke rasa malu sangat nak jumpa. Bila nak balik ke kereta masing2 tengok kawan2 yg dulu banyak fail tu bawak kereta mewah tapi awak hurmmm... kereta pun buruk, second hand pulak tu.. Rumah pulak jangan haraplah, entah2 dok menyewa je, nak beli tak mampu. Kawan2 yang banyak fail tu pulak dah beli rumah 2-3 dah.. Mesti stress kan? Kan? Kan?

From these scenarios, memang ada yang terjadi dan janganlah menyalahkan takdir Allah. Allah ada menyediakan hak2 kita di dunia ni. Rezeki kita pun memang ada cuma kita sahaja yang kena berusaha untuk mendapatkan rezeki kita tu. Janganlah duduk goyang kaki je nak harap rezeki datang bergolek. Memang tak la.. Allah pun tak suka orang yang malas dan meminta2 ni. Sedangkan waktu sakit pun kita masih perlu bersolat, ni kan pulak kita yang sihat2 tapi tak nak kerja lebih! No excuse in life!

In that case, mari lah kita berusaha untuk mengubah kehidupan kita. Kalau dah ada kerja tetap tu kita lebihkan sikit pendapatan kita buat extra work. Kerja tetap tu dapat gaji pun tetap je bulan2. Sampai dapat pay slip pun dah malas nak bukak pasal dah tau dah figures kat dalam tu. Hujung tahun je la bukak bila ada bonus ke, increment ke, adjustment ke.

TAPI kalau buat kerja extra a.k.a BUSINESS tiap2 bulan tak sabar2 nak bukak payslip. Ye la, the more you do your work, the more income you get. Buat business ni one thing, you are your own boss. You yg tetapkan berapa income nak dapat bulan tu. Bila you nak kerja, berapa jam nak kerja. Semuanya terpulang kepada individu masing2.

BUSINESS yang saya buat ni pun macam tu jugak. Company yang saya bernaung ni SANGAT2 lah stable and established! Listed on Bursa Malaysia, internationally recognised, awarded by FORBES, awarded and recognised by Malaysian Government dan produk2nya disahkan SUPERBRAND and ada LIFETIME WARRANTY. Tadi baru dpt email gambar2 bunga tulips kat Holland..

Tulips ni ditanam dlm bulan october, november dan akan kembang dalam bulan May iaitu ketika musim bunga. So kalau tengok aerial view, dari atas akan nampak mcm rainbows of colours, garis2 berbagai warna macam mainan budak2.

So.. Teringin sangat nak pegi! Nanti jap lagi saya buat posting Holland.

Early this year saya pegi round Europe. Bukan satu Europe la.. Saya pegi London, Paris, Nice, Milan, Florence & Dublin, Ireland selama 3 minggu. Cuti panjang tuuu! Best giler gi Europe tapi pegi waktu winter la ngan hubby & my kiddy. Of course duit puluh2 ribu habis. Utk flight, accommodation & shopping!

So saya nak pegi ke Holland ni free of charge, FOC! Ada la caranya nak gi FOC tu.. Takkan habis puluh2 ribu punya, kalau habis pun utk duit shopping je, bukan puluh2 ribu utk flight, accommodation ye..
